CATI: The Technology and Innovation Support Center (CATI) [Centro de Apoyo a la Tecnología e Innovación (CATI)] is a program from the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) to facilitate access of innovators in developing countries to local technology information services and other high quality services, enabling them to exploit their innovative potential and to create, protect and manage their intellectual property rights.

Competitive intelligence:  the systematic collection of commercial, scientific, technological or other type of information in order to analyze the potential of a certain knowledge for innovation or use.

Creative commons:   author licenses which give the author a simple and standardized manner of granting the public permission to share and use this work under the terms and conditions of their choice.
